An incident in Thailand has been reported where many workers were sent to hospital after an abrupt discharge of a bleaching agent. The accident took place about
6.30pm when workers smelled a strong chlorine-like odour at the plant. The article mentions that the odour probably came from sodium hypochlorite, which
was discharged from the plant during an emergency shutdown.
