An incident where bromine leaking from glass bottles has been reported at a chemical unit in South India. Many people were reported to be affected. Apparently the bromine leaked from glass bottles kept in the stores. If you are handling large quantities of Bromine it is always safer to use ISO containers instead of bottles.
