Organisations have to understand that not only is the worker's behaviour responsible, it is also the behaviour of the top management that is also responsible for process safety!

  1. Normally, BBSP is fancied only for correcting the persons instead of equipment. BBSP helps us to understand the way people make mistakes and this knowledge should be used for designing the equipment with relevant safety features. If BBSP is used for correcting the shopfloor person only, it is no better than use of PPE which is the last resort in accident prevention.
